The relatively recently released “Yeti” variety originated from some particularly unstable Golden Teacher genetics. The albino ‘mutants’ that first popped up in this lineage were isolated down to a wide range of unique Albino varieties by the infamous Jik Fibs. These varieties all fall under the True Albino Teacher (TAT) lineage, of which the Yeti variety is one of the most popular.
Known for their slow growth, high alkaloid content, and often large size they have become one of the most sought after varieties on the market today. Unlike many of the Penis Envy varieties (e.g. PE, APE, PE uncut), which are often harder than most other cubensis varieties, these mushrooms are just as easy to grow as varieties like Treasure Coast and Golden Teachers.
